Charmed - The Final Season (Season Eight) DVD
Charmed follows three sisters Prue, Piper and Phoebe Halliwell. Later after when Prue dies, there is a 'lost' fourth sister named Paige that is brought into the family. The Halliwell sisters were actually 'good withces' who's power was supposed to be unstoppable when they combine their powers - 'The Power of Three'. Charmed usually followed the 'demon or witch' of the week format, while moving a larger storyline forward spanning a season (sometimes longer).
Charmed starts the series as the original three sisters learn of their family 'secret'. With the death of their parents, they inherit the family home in San Francisco and their supernatural powers are slowly revealed. Of course, they must keep their powers a secret to the 'mortal' world, but the evil demons and warlocks know them as 'The Charmed Ones'...those that can defeat all evil due to their massive power.
After Shannen Doherty left the series at the end of season three, Paige (Rose McGowan) was brought into the mix...keeping the 'power of three' alive.
