Point Pleasant aired for only one season on the FOX Network. Only the first eight episodes aired in the US, but all 13 are included on the DVD set.

Point Pleasant follows a young girl when she washes up on a Point Pleasant Beach in New Jersey after a horrible storm. Christina is taken in by a local family and they treat her as their own as she tried to piece together who she is and where her family is. Christina has a strange effect on people...they lose inhibitions, emotions are heightened, desires are manifested. It is soon revealed that Christina is the child of Satan and has a bigger purpose. Will she be able to change the course of her destiny? I guess you will have to watch the series to see.
