Reba is a situation comedy staring Reba McEntire as a divorced mother in Texas. Reba's husband left her after having an affair with a younger, not-so-smart, blond. Reba's children live with her in the former couple's home, but things become more complicated when Reba's oldest daughter (a senior in high school) becomes pregnant and marries the baby's father. The young newlyweds have to move in with Reba and family, which adds to the comedy situation. Reba's ex-husband is a regular character along with his new wife.
Reba tackles some tough family issues, while managing to keep it light and airy. The ratings for Reba were quite strong through the full five seasons which makes fans wonder why it didn't stick around for a few more years. If you are a fan of family situation comedies, Reba is a must see. Reba McEntire pulls off her role very well and proves she can pull off comedy with the best of them.
